Some Problems in Writing 1

I have studied writing 1 last semester. At that time, there were two lecturers taught us. At first, I really interested with it. I really wanted to know about how to write a paragraph or an essay correctly and well. I tried to do everything as maximal as I can. Although I have tried to do the best, I knew everything would not happen as what I want.  As time as passed, I began found some problems that need to be solved. Here were some problems which I had in writing 1.

      One of the problems was about the topic. It was hard for me to find a good topic for my paragraph or essay. Sometimes, it could be easy and also could be difficult for me to find a good topic and the idea. It could be easy when I found a fun and interesting topic, so I could write the paragraph or essay fluently, but it rarely happened. I wasted long time only for thinking about the topic.

The other problem was about the grammar. My ability in grammar was not good enough, so I did many mistakes when I wrote a sentence. I would confuse whenever I faced the grammar even though I understood what the lecturer have taught when I learned the structure. When I wrote a paragraph or an essay, I had to be careful. I had to review it many times because whenever I checked it again and again, I still found some mistakes. Those mistakes could be the tenses, articles, modal auxiliaries, etc. I knew I must improve my ability in grammar.

Besides that, I am an unconfidence person, so I seldom raised my hand to answer the question from the lecturer. The activity that I did when the lecturer gave question was only sat on my chair and tried to understand the question and the answer. I just answered the question in my mind or discussed it with friends beside me. I did not know why I became like this. Being an unconfidence person was one of my weaknesses.

Although I have studied writing 1 last semester, I could not do the best. It happened because I had some problems. The topic of the essay or paragraph, the grammar and being an unconfidence person were the problems that I had. These problems really need to be solved because it was difficult for me to improve my ability if I still have these problems.
